Autumn (by Julie)
The marvelous shades of decay;
Crimson, saffron, gold and orange.
A beautiful funeral for the spring,
With fond memories of greener days
Woven into the tapestry of death.
When the dying leaves lay crumpled
On the cold dirt ground, covered with snow,
My mind's eye will gaze back fondly
Upon the pagentry of their final days.
And I will remind myself, that like the seasons,
I can begin anew.
